So it’s not Friday but the story behind these cake toppers was just too cute to delay.

The father of the bride hand-made these for his little girl. Adorable.  The description didn’t offer any more insight into the toppers but they almost look like a thin piece of metal. Perhaps Dad is a metalworker?

Clearly the highlight of this cake is the topper–but the cake won’t be ignored! This is a three tiered stacked round cake. The sides of the cake are a dark indigo while the tops and piping are bright white. Of course, you may have heard that indigo is the new neutral color (according to West Elm) and I like it!
