When in doubt…go vintage.  That’s my motto anyway.  Vintage is very in right now and a perfect way to add a little kitschy charm to your wedding is to top off your cake with a vintage cake topper.  You can search online for options on eBay, Big Cartel or Etsy…but you could also hit the streets and do a little digging and save major dollars at yard sales and thrift stores. I always seem to find some sort of bride and groom topper whenever I am out and about. You might get lucky and find a little beauty like this one.

This vintage topper is a porcelain figurine featuring child bride and groom dressed to the nines in their wedding gear.  It is so adorable that it almost makes me forget about my weird uncomfortableness with children being depicted in adult situations.  Remember those black and white pictures with five year old smooching that were so popular a few years ago?  Or cats playing instruments..that’s another thing I have issues with.  However, if you haven’t learned anything about me yet…you must have learned that I am slightly off by now.
