Got it. Groundhog Day with Bill Murray. A favorite of mine that I had never seen until a few years ago. Another fun Groundhog day fact…it’s not called “Groundhog’s Day” which I called it oh..my entire life. It’s singular as in one wee groundhog. Since Punxsatawney Phil did not see his shadow today (he must of gotten my death threats) we are due for an early spring! Woot woot! I am sure this makes those of you that are snowed in happy!

In honor of an early spring today I am featuring a cake that just epitomizes spring time with its big red delicious strawberry’s ALL over it. Yum, yum! This type of cake hasn’t really been featured very much here on AWCB but I’ve got to admit..I kind of love it! It’s a tiered sheet cake with intricate frosting detail all over the sides..and of course topped with over fifty strawberries. And this baby is HUGE..just look at the size of this cake! I cannot imagine how many people must of been at that wedding! My only hope is that at least one of those layers was chocolate. Oh yum..
