Wedding Cake with Bows

There’s just something about bows. I love ’em, especially when they’re used to adorn cakes.

A wedding cake with a bow has the perfect mix of elegance and whimsy that takes it to another level. A cake can never be “too formal” when it has a bow.

And if your baker can create a bow that has similarities to your wedding dress? Well, that’s just about perfect.

Today’s featured cake looks a lot like a wedding dress, thanks to the fondant appliques, the “pearl” buttons running down the cake, and a big white fondant bow adorned with a crystal jewel.

I’m gonna bet that the bride’s dress looked a little (or a lot!) like this cake.

The ivory hue of the icing is also gorgeous – and unique.
