As we head full-steam into summer, this week's wedding cake flashback is the super colorful and fun seven-foot-tall cake served at the 2004 wedding of Mariska Hargitay and Peter Hermann.

I love this cake because it has a little bit of Alice in Wonderland vibe to it. I think the tiers look a little bit like something the Mad Hatter might create.

This stunner of a wedding cake was created by Very Different Cakes, and featured six tiers of chocolate and vanilla cakes colored orange, green, and magenta with flower and butterfly designs. It's almost too pretty to eat. (Can you imagine cutting into that cake?!?) The cake was topped with an ornate Swarovski crystal topper featuring the couple's initials.
