Despite the winter wonderland outside my window, I have decided it’s time to embrace all things spring in the hope that there’s a thaw on the way and we’ll see green grass again sometime soon.

As part of this ‘let’s think spring’ movement, I had to find a spring-y wedding cake to share today, and I think I found it!

This lovely light green cake is perfect for a spring wedding!

I love this cake for several reasons, the first of which is the crystal butterflies. I think they are a perfect addition to such a simple yet glamorous cake. Plus they add a subtle sparkle to the cake.

I also adore the green hue of the fondant icing – it’s so pretty and really embodies all things spring. The embossed leaves around each tier are  lovely addition and really bring the cake together.

This would be stunning at your spring or early summer wedding.
