Some cakes are just so gorgeous they take your breath away. For me this is one of those cakes.

I love love love the way Kara Buntin, of A Cake to Remember used a different design on each tier…it emphasizes the vintage feel of the cake.  The lace on the bottom tier was made from a fondant press. And I love the way Kara layered the lace to give it more depth. For the cameo on the top layer, she used a mold made from a vintage cameo and a pearl border press…For all of you brides out there this would be a great way to incorporate a little part of your family history into your wedding day.
