Did you know that beehives often symbolize industry, harmony, and order?  Well, if that be so, then we think using a beehive as a symbol for marriage is to get off on exactly the right foot.  After all, marriage takes work, and harmony makes it all the better, yes?

Paige and Justin, our bride and groom whose cake we feature today, must have thought the same thing, and so, they chose the beehive as the symbol for their wedding stationary, napkins, and even their cake.  (Wonder if they gave out honey favors?)  This cake is adorable.  The glistening fondant is stamped in a honeycomb pattern, and the cake is trimmed with wildflowers and pink ribbon.  Atop the cake sits one of our favorite kinds of cake toppers – edible!  And not just edible, but cake!  Seriously.  Cake.  Topped with Cake.  A little beehive cake worthy of Winnie the Pooh and leaving us wanting just a smackerel of honey.  Darling.
