If I had to choose one cookie to eat for the rest of forever, it would be Oreo cookies.

There’s just something about those chocolate wafers with white “cream” filling that I can’t resist. (And the holiday versions? Oh man.)

So if I went to a wedding where the guests were sent home with cute packages of personalized wedding Oreo cookies that would be my favorite wedding of all time. Read More

Fun Wedding Favors – Lavender Rice

lavendar rice

Today’s featured favor isn’t really a favor but it’s still fun.

Tossing rice (or birdseed) or blowing bubbles at the new couple is a fun tradition, but lavender rice is a new concept for us!

The lavender “rice” is made of 100% pure lavender buds which are completely biodegradable – and they won’t harm the birds. Read More

A long time ago when I got married I said I didn’t want people throwing rice at me. It seemed rather old fashioned.

Fun Wedding Favors – Popcorn

popcorn2

This week’s fun wedding favor is ideal for couples who are hosting a group of out-of-town guests!

These personalized bags of microwave popcorn would be the perfect addition to a care package.

You could create care packages for each of the out-of-town guests and include items such as bottled water, hand sanitizer, and of course treats just like this microwave popcorn!

Of course if you’re having a smaller reception and everyone is from the same area you could always put the packages of popcorn in cute baskets at the reception and encourage guests to take one or two on their way out.

The bags can be personalized with a wraparound label of your choice – you get to choose the color and what the label says.

You’ll find these personalized bags of popcorn here.

Since tomorrow is Halloween and I have sweets on my mind, it seemed like a good time to showcase one of my favorite ideas for wedding favors.

I give you the brownie pop.

These fun and delicious treats make a great idea for favors – or just for the dessert bar if you’re planning one for the reception. Or you could just have a plate at each table so guests could enjoy one after dinner but before cake. Read More
