Winter White Wedding Cake
There’s no denying it now – winter is almost officially upon us.
It’s December and that means holidays, cold weather, and snow. But it also means festive holiday weddings!
And to beat those winter blahs you’ll want a stunning winter wedding cake – like this gorgeous cake I’m featuring today. Read More
Happy Ending Wedding Cake
Those with any sense know that “And They Lived Happily Ever After” signifies not the end of the story, but the beginning.
Today, we feature another beautiful cake by Jenniffer at Cup A Dee Cakes in Tunnel Hill, Georgia. Clearly, Jenniffer knows this secret, and so does the couple for whom she made this beautiful cake.
So there are lots of fun things to love here. First, be sure to read Jen’s original blog post about how she got that pretty silver lettering onto that cake without going all wonky and downhill like most of us would. Next, don’t you love that vivid pop of Read More
Silver Coin Wedding Cake
We all know that gold continues to be hot! hot! hot! this year. But no matter how many gold trends come and go, I shall always be a silver girl (or white gold. Or platinum. You get my drift.)
This cake caught my eye right away. Featured at a wedding in Santa Ana, California, what a rich look it has! Square and Round White Wedding Cake
Isn’t this pretty?

While gold is making a resurgence, it’s trusty friend silver is still holding strong. It’s like chocolate and white chocolate. White chocolate might be awesome when you first discover it slathered over pretzels or strawberries. Then months go by and the white chocolate gets a little old and you need to go back to your old standby…chocolate. Or in this case…silver. That analogy was pretty bad. So I scoured Read More
Silver Pinecone Wedding Cake
I’m not going to lie. The day I figured out that spray paint + pine cones = amazing winter accessories for my house I kind of went nuts. When I figured out that I already owned silver and gold spray paint AND my backyard was littered with pine cones so in essence this DIY decoration was free…I kind of flipped out.
I’m sure these pine cones aren’t exactly spray painted (something about that seems incredibly unsafe to be near your edibles) but they are a gorgeous silver on top of an ice Read More
